In honor of Mother's Day yesterday I let my Replicator rest and focused some attention on my wife. Love you, Honey.
So no prints from yesterday to report. However, I did skip reporting on two prints from a couple days ago. So here's that report. Don't go getting your hopes up too much.
I printed another set of pawns. This time I did it with 2 shells. And that seemed to fix the stability issues with the bottoms. However, there's still this little hole in the top (which you can't really see in the pictures, but trust me, it's there. I may have to see if the makerbot group can help me on that one.
This is called the accuracy master test print. The idea is to see how well calibrated your machine is in 6 ways. The bridge actually worked alright, but it is a small bridge. I may try another bridge test later. But the small details on the "one" and "3" could use some work. Someone suggested these be some sort of currency among 3D printer owners. I think that's a pretty funny idea.
Oh, and did I share this picture of my other son's negatived Hylian Shield ring?
He's the dark link. Believe it.
