MyMiniFactory's chess contest is in the second phase which means it's all up to you. The most downloaded chess set wins. Of course to download you have to give them your e-mail address and their real purposes are revealed.
Tell you what, I'll make you a deal. I want to win this thing so much I've entered it twice. There's the Charles O Perry inspired set and the Bird Cage Chess set. If you will go and download both of these sets, then ask your friends and family to do the same, I will turn around and run a contest of my own where you can win a 3D printer without needing to be able to design anything. I'll even throw in a copy of my book so you can learn to do designs for 3D printing yourself with your own 3D printer. That you won. In my contest.
I reserve the right to open up the 3D printer and try it out, film a quick review and compare it against my makerbot, but after that it's all yours.
