Seems like everyone is suddenly discovering 3D printing today. Shapeway's twitter feed alone is full of articles published today lauding 3D printing. I've also had at least 3 people forward me information on the filabot like I haven't been following since it's kickstarter. I love it when someone discovers this hobby of mine for the first time. I just don't get why today seems to be the day for it.
Ah well, welcome everyone.
Think how feels the peoples who have been working in this industry for the past 20 years. But the big hype around 3D printing is mostly because it's becoming affordable. In the past 2 years a lot have changed, about 65 different companies are selling low end 3D printers.
