The new toy makers

I'm having a hard time coming up with a lead in for this that balances the lofty tone of the article and head-in-the-clouds nature of the whole site it's on with a healthy dose of cynicism. But I can't. So I'll just link the article:

Patents annoy me. I could go off on a tirade about that, but I'm not. I will say that I've heard about Quirky and I wonder if I should run a couple of my ideas through them. Seems like a better gig than going it alone.
