3D printing helps a little girl move her arms

I know a lot of the stuff I do isn't this caliber, but I've long thought that 3D printing could allow the building of cheap custom prognostics, even thinking that one of the printed hand projects could be adapted to medical use. But this is cool and happening now. Remember the TV show MANTIS? Okay, that show was pretty dumb, not like this. It looks like the principle of this is to assist by lowering the relative strength required by using supports that are stressed with rubber bands. Brilliant. In fact I have rubber band here. Maybe if this can let a little girl who can't move use her arms, I can use it to become... Ironman. Well, plasticman... okay the name needs some work.
